When I first got the Grand Vitara it was fitted with a load of extras which the dealer referred to as the "S-Pack", not sure if this was just something specific to them, or whether it is a package all Suzuki (UK) Dealers offer? Anyway, it contained -

Worth

Locking Wheel Nuts

  £20
Carpet Floor Mats

  £45
Headlight Protectors

£42
Bumper Corner Protectors £55
Rear Boot Tray

£55
Chrome Exhaust Trim

£45 (!)

Total

£262

So it was a worthwhile bundle of extra accessories...

Whilst negotiating on the deal for the GV, I also persuaded the salesman to throw in a free Dog Guard, worth £159 -

Which is handy, when you've got a couple of these -

Labradors! That's "Cadbury" on the left, and "Fudge" on the right... with his eyes closed? Daft Mutt! LOL

I also managed to haggle a half-price set of reversing aids too -

More on that later... LOL

So, all in all, got a great deal on the car!!!

Since then, I've added a few more accessories - as you do! -

Bonnet Protector - an acrylic edge to protect the bonnet from stone chips (£59)

Wind Deflectors - allow the windows to be open a bit even when it's raining... (£59)

Roofrails and Roofrack - Suzuki Locakable Roofrails (£139) & Thule Roof Rack Tray (£189)

Towbar -

Here's the receiver for the towbar's neck...

This big lump stays in the compartment under the boot tray normally, but locks into place when needed...

When I first had it installed it had a fixed neck on it, but...

With the towbar connected (or the original fixed one in) the reversing sensors "see" the towball and beep like crazy, as if you're about to reverse into something! LOL ... so it sits it the boot most of the time, until needed...

So, here it is to date -

The number plate? Yes, that's a different story! I originally bought it for "Stumpy", the bob-tailed (12" shortened) old style Grand Vitara I built, but I then had "licensing issues" (that's all I'm saying here!) with it, and so it got sold off for offroad use only... hence how I ended up with this rather attractive "H19H GV" number plate... :)

WISH LIST?

There's a couple more things I'd like to do to the GV when time (and funds!) permit...

I'd like tinted windows like this -

And some proper side sill bars, like the ones Rocky Road do -

Can you imagine the shipping charge from the US though?

I think I'll make my own... one day...

And the last two items I'd like, again, one day...

I like the spoiler and the tail light bezels... :)
